EPSO/AD/227/11 – Archivistics (AD 6)

EPSO is organising an open competition to select specialists in archiving and document management.
As an archivist within the European institutions, you will shape the document archiving policy relating to a continent. From leading your own team of archivists to managing some far-reaching projects, e.g. defining description standards or ensuring long-term electronic preservation, you can expect constant challenge and considerable visibililty.

Am I eligible?

You must:
  • be a citizen of an EU country;
  • be educated to degree level and have at least one year's formal training in archiving or document management;
  • have at least three years' professional experience in archivistics or document management;
  • be fluent in one official EU language with a good command of English, French or German.

EPSO/AD/229/11 Cooperation and Management of Aid to Non-Member Countries (AD 7)

EPSO is organising an open competition to select specialists in development cooperation to work in EU Delegations, located mainly in developing countries.
Our Development Cooperation programmes bring vital aid to around 150 countries worldwide. Working in 'Cooperation and management of aid to non-member countries', you will be central to these vital initiatives. For example, you will shape strategy and sector policies, conduct dialogue with partners and stakeholders, and identify potential projects that can make a real and lasting difference.

Am I eligible?

You must:
  • be a citizen of an EU country;
  • be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline;
  • have at least six years' professional experience in the development cooperation field. At least four of the six years' experience must have been gained by working on a project or programme in a developing country, including two years as team leader;
  • be fluent in one official EU language with a good command of English, French or German;
  • undertake to accept service in an EU Delegation in a developing country.
